At this point, could you go back to a basic phone without all the smartphone features?

I mean i have before and would be able to go back but why would i? Even something as simple as driving to a new place is better and safer. I'd rather use a turn by turn GPS than print out directions i have to read while I'm driving.

Realistically yes. But smartphones and technology are essential to having to a social life now, jobs as well in some cases. It wouldn't be a life worth living being the socially and technologically inept outcast.

Yeah. I recently bought a new one and I've really only used it for Hangouts (because our work organization requires us to use Hangouts) and a little bit of Trivia Crack, but I could live without Trivia Crack. I still have a decent MP3 player I can use to play music with so...

I didn't get my first smart phone til late last year. I only use it sparingly and could easily go without it.

Still got my .....gps or I guess it might be called something else now. The stand alone unit, it's pretty legit and I don't ever use it anymore but definitely prefer it over the phone.

I could, but I wouldn't want to.

Smartphones are convenient and useful for day to day things. I hate it when people bash them and say they're for sheep or whatever in an attempt to feel unique and special.

I can't imagine not maining a desktop PC. Smartphones are useful for checking on Internet stuff while you're out but that's pretty much it. For anything more involved than that you're going to need a computer.

i could but would be a major inconvenience.

off the top of my head it would mean:
-no maps
-no way of checking public transport times
-going back to physical airport tickets and boarding passes
-can't pay with mobile pay if i forget my card or don't have money on hand
(one day my buddy and i went out to buy fast food only to realize at the counter that none of us brought any money xd. luckily the owner asked if we could transfer the money to him through phone and we saved ourselves a trip back and forth)

My first phone was a smartphone and I didn't have a phone until I was like 23. I can easily go back without a phone, though it is nice to be able to study directly on my phone sometimes.

I only ever bothered using mine for anything when either the electricity or my laptop is down. I just turned it back on and guess what? 0%.

I was gifted a tablet years ago so I never upgraded to a smart phone; then again I still own a rotary phone, and if all else fails I've got an Extra-class amateur radio license to fall back on (currently trying to learn Morse code).
