Hormel products generally taste like unfiltered human waste. Their pepperoni is ass, same goes for their bacon.

On topic, I'm not eating any stew, soup, etc from a can, that's just gross.

The only time I had that stuff was at camp outs when I was a poor teenager. We would heat up the can in some coals right in the fire.

I last had it about a year ago. The amount of sodium in that stuff is insane, it tastes like I am eating a salt mine.

I actually think it tastes pretty good. I have to imagine that dog food tastes worse.

EDIT: The second answerer here says that "high quality" wet dog food tastes like "unsalted Dinty Moore stew".

I bought some Kirkland canned dog food from Costco and when I opened it I swear it looked and smelled exactly like Dinty Moore.
