This, EA tried to pull the "we're committed to historical accuracy" thing, and when they were called out for bizarre things like one-armed female British commandos fighting in Norway their PR team shit the bed.

Because AC's whole schtick is being historically inaccurate. It was also optional, wasn't it?

Battlefield used to present itself as being something of a simulation, although I feel that has long since gone out the window.

I do find it funny that people in here are acting like women on the frontlines was a common thing, let alone disabled women.

Oh, also the whole thing looks goofy as fuck. I'm not going to make a big stink because I was never a big Battlefield fan anyways, but I saw that announcement and was like "hard pass" because of how stupid it looked.
