I don't have acne anymore (thanks accutane!) but my face gets super dry (thanks accutane!) and I want to use a good facial wash that won't leave my feeling like shit the whole day.

Any recommendations?

Use this but make sure to use toner and moisturizer too. Using only a scrub/exfoliator will dry your skin almost every time, regardless of genetics.

I use Harry's face wash and their face lotion after I finish washing

I stopped taking accutane years ago because it gave me a horrible rash all over my arms (still shows up on my hands if I forget to use hydrocortisone cream twice a day. Thanks accutane!) and began using the Harry's stuff and it's helped clear up my acne really well

You just need to lotion up after the shower. I get the gf to apply it to my face when it starts getting dry

I don't even use one. I just shower, drink plenty of water and moisturise. Occasionally exfoliate.

I get facial dandruff and drynes really bad after showering, especially as I grow my beard. If you type in Port Products, you'll pull up a care sight and they sell a very good and light beard oil that is great for your skin. It has solved my dryness issues entirely, and is only about $25. for a bottle that last one to two months. I don't know how good that sounds to you but to solve something that for me was a huge issue, it is entirely worth it.

use this or a similar product after washing your face. i use like two layers of this cuz its winter and my city is super dry even without winter

Try to stay away from foaming cleansers and anything labeled as an acne face wash. Stay away from physical scrubs too, especially St Ives. If your skin is feeling really tight and dry after you wash it then, theres a good chance you need to bring the ph down with a toner.

Ive never used it but, Accutane is notorious for drying you out so make sure you have a good moisturizer too. CeraVe and Cosrx are both good choices.

FWIW I only cleanse before shaving these days. Everybody's acne is different, you gotta find out what cures you (brewer's yeast solved my acne by making my face less oily)
