GreenKnight127 11/08/18 8:30:39 PM #1:	I keep hearing a lot of hype around this movie on websites and previews and such.......and I saw the trailer. I saw some extended footage of it. And I saw that short-film at the end of Venom.......and.....it looks like hot garbage. It's very confusing.....because it looks like they are trying to be cartoony and semi-Pixar realistic (kinda like an Overwatch movie)........but the animation seriously looks like it's running at 5 frames per second. So jittery and hard to look at for too long. The backgrounds will slide by super smooth, but the characters jutter like bad claymation. It's the laziness of the animation that leaves a bad taste in my mouth, even moreso than the fact that it just aesthetically LOOKS bad on top of it all. The animators and studio were clearly just trying to save money and see what they could get away with showing, and also see what audiences would be "okay" with. Hardcore Spider-Man fans will just be happy if the story is good....and not worry so much about how it "looks"....but that logic is a slippery slope. If your movie is an animated film.....why NOT make the animation as good as you can? Solid animation doesn't rely on shortcuts, and frames-per-second is every animator's laziness shortcut crutch. And it's painfully obvious that they chose to go with a lower framerate to save time and money. Kinda insulting (even if many people with low standards are "okay" with it).
