As in purchase? I'll vote with my dollars. Price, convenience, service. They are in business to serve me. It's my privilege to be a picky consumer.

I've abandoned a full shopping cart in line and gone to a different store because I was disgusted. On the other hand, I'll go out of my way to shop where there are pleasant and helpful staff.

I'm less concerned about "wretched scoundrels" at the top than I am about the staff at customer interface level.

Use facebook marketplace and buy what you want from other people near you. I'm getting a Bevil Juicer (normally $299) for $60 that way this morning actually. Waaay cheaper then from amazon etc.

Won't work for everything, but it can get you what you want, save you money and give that money to real people that need it.
