earlier this year the diablo team made a bunch of blog posts and videos saying "we're working on something great!!! G E T H Y P E D!!!!!"

To be fair, I did just buy Diablo 3 on Switch. I might play around on the mobile game when it releases, but that entirely depends on how manageable it is to play, if it controls ok, and how pervasive the microtransactions are.

It's going to likely be free to play anyway, so I won't lose out on anything by trying it out

Basically, Blizzard knows exactly what the fans want:

- A Diablo 1 or 2 remake
- Diablo 4
- Maybe some content for the Diablo 3 PC edition

Giving the fans a mobile game was worse than giving them nothing.

How about some of you guys that think it doesn't look that bad go ahead and play some of Netease's mobile games (which I haven't ever touched either) and tell me that it's not similar and pretty much a reskin of it. Go look at Crusaders of Light and Endless of Gods.

I am glad I am not a fan of the Diablo series.

To go to a convention to expect something exciting for your game, only to be told that it's a mobile game. At your annual convention. Your annual convention.
