Seems like the only religions with goddesses are or were polytheistic, and the goddesses were still of lower standings than the male gods. I mean, I know why that is; these religions came from the ruling men of patriarchal societies, but you would think that they would take the fact that women give birth and apply it to a "one true god" that birthed the whole cosmos on her own. From a quick search, the only ones that do fit the bill were those made by modern day feminists.
