Okay, so the round is pretty much over. Let's discuss the stars and turds, shall we? I know "The Show" does this, but they don't do a poll about it! I'd like to run a poll, but I'd better get some opinions to get the most worthy characters into the poll.

Discuss whatever you'd like. The characters ten most commonly mentioned as stars (and likewise with turds) will qualify for the polls. (assuming we get enough responses)

Stars:
- Kefka/Terra: The shining performances from Final Fantasy this contest, with a big win and a great embarrassment.
- Ganondorf/Zelda: Such massive performances that make them, in my opinion, very easy favorites to win their divisions
- Bayonetta: went from middling to what looks like a really strong midcard, probably the favorite to win the 8-pack
- Crash: after years of pathetic history, this year and 2013 showed he's finally gotten things together a little
- Amaterasu: even with how bad Draven is, anyone in this contest breaking 88% is absolutely amazing

Turds:
- Shepard: Goes from beating Aeris to struggling with a trailer. Come on.
- Gordon Freeman: Valve drop or not, a 10%+ underperformance is just pathetic
- Sans: Having a fanbase and getting doubled Pac-Man, the posterboy for someone without a fanbase, is kind of, uh, not good.
- Monika: Same as Sans basically
- Noctis: Lost to a fucking glove. 'nuff said.

Frog(just crushed that guy)

I think it's pretty obvious that the star is smash brothers and the turd is either rallies or any new character within the last 10 years -- unless you were also in smash bros.

Star - Geralt for being one of the few western winners (especially because he was against Smash/Nintendo)

Turds - basically everyone from a western game. Kratos was the only one who didnt look embarrassing basically. For others Id go with Riku and Vincent for almost losing to Magus despite once being considered the 10th/11th strongest on the site

The stars that impressed me the most include...

I'll limit mine to just five (kind of hard to do), in no order...

Kefka..... getting 60% on a long-enduring joke character? Not bad.
Pikachu...doubling Scorp? It's as if Pikachu lost a step in 2013.
Zelda..... Increasing you previous score by like 13% is pretty crazy, even if Ezio dropped.
Kratos... yeah, he just manhandled an opponent had RDR2 hype to well.
Terra.... yeah, her performance on Charizard was a massive improvement over her performance on Kirby last contest, even though Charizard may be no Kirby, true....

My turds include....(limiting this one to five is even harder to do!)

Draven - 13%. Nuff said.
Noctis - losing handily to...yeah.
Vincent - Maybe Magus should be the star instead, I don't know....
Sans - getitng blown out THAT badly? At least Shovel Knight looked decent!
Riku - getting blown out by a heroine of the weak game? Maybe I'm not giving Bayonetta enough credit here, but Riku's got to be well below Pac-Man's level now.
