Unless we're getting that money converted if we get transferred, we're getting dropped into an area with no money, likely no life skills that will help you, losing literally everything you love likely leading to depression, probably a language barrier even if you get to somewhere that speaks English, etc.

An antibiotic could cure that. So some people could do that.

Personally, I knew that the spread was caused by rats and fleas. Avoid large cities.

This. Not to mention the diseases they have and you have which could equally kill each other. And you could barely eat anything due to your stomach not being use to meat of the time.

It would be a shock to the eco system of any place you were transported to. You would literally change history as well cause you are not meant to be there. Butterfly effect and all that

Well I googled it and I would probably die trying, my best bet would be to avoid cities. This topic reminded me of a Sliders episode where they made penicillin.

Well, assuming you wouldn't die from having a completely incompatible immune system, (you would) you also wouldn't speak the same language, old english is extremely different than modern day. You can't eat their food without shitting yourself to death.

But lets skip that, pretend you somehow also gain the ability to speak whatever they speak. And you also can digest their food. Nothing you could do or say would convince them of anything, unless you are some super smart proffesor who knows exactly every little detail of whatever modern thing you are trying to explain, and even then you wouldn't be able to prove it.

If you try to tell them that the world goes around the sun and not the other way around, it would be more likely for them to convince you they are right than you to convince them.

People back then weren't stupid, they just had less technology. They had extremely advanced math to explain all the movements of the sun and stars, explaining exactly how it works.

That is assuming you can convince anyone to listen to you. You will just be some madman shouting insane things you cant prove that no one will believe. You would be useless to them, I guarentee any skills you have, they will be better at it because they had to do everything on their own without a bunch of tech to do it for them.

Basically, you are fucked.
Even if you can bring a lighter or something, they would think it was neat. They have flint and shit, they understand how lighting things works, the plastic would be the most interesting part for them, but it doesnt mean they would listen to anything you had to say.

"Extremely different" barely scratches the surface, old English is a completely different language. It would probably be easier for an English speaker to learn French than Old English, even without considering the amount of resources available.
