Let's get away from any negativity and have some fun with the lovely news that we're still getting more characters.
Five more after the Plant, apparently to be released over the course of ~a year. Make your guesses here. I'll keep track of them all in a spreadsheet until they're all announced. Guess all five and I'll buy you a Steam game of your choice (or multiple games with a total value of $60). If no one gets all five, which is probably likely, whoever's closest will get $20 worth of Steam games. The tiebreaker will be the release order (not the announcement order, in the event that they're different). If you don't specify otherwise I'll just list it in the order of your post. If I win I guess I'll buy myself stuff. You'll have to actually name the character - stuff like "a Square Enix character" or "main character from a new Nintendo IP" won't get counted as correct for the purposes of the contest. The only exception I can think of would be "Gen 8 Pokemon" since we don't know any of them yet but it's still a pretty reasonable guess to make. You can try to persuade me if there's some other big category I haven't thought of, but definitely nothing too broad.
