I reject the notion that scum always has a "useless" power. Information gathering roles are not useless.

Better than town using a useful ability on me night 1 and blowing my power for the game. And with everyone going "OMG SO PRO-TOWN" after my analysis post I was pretty much doc-bait anyway. I'd rather have scum blow an extra ability use, regardless of how relatively useless it may be, than have town be the ones to blow my power and an ability use.

I'm not wholly against it, but we're not even a third of a way through D1, so we should at least see what shakes out. Especially since our last three Ultimates have yet to participate very much.

With my horrible math and thinking on scenarios where it's a 4 or 5 man scum team I think we actually gain a day if we lynch you and keep your vote.

So in that respect I think it's a good idea. That's assuming it lasts all game.

However if we have a better lynch than you I think we should aim for something scummier.

Mind you chris thinks you scum so really it's a win win for him assuming he's town.

With all that said, would scum chris want to risk a lynch on someone who doesn't benefit his team?

-Don't like the way death said 'Harris is evidently town. I haven't seen how he played in monster mafia but I believe the evidence presented so far'. It feels contradictory - how is taking someone else's word at face value evidential like that?

-Puns/Chris slapfight is a nulltell so far. Wanna see a bit more from it. Speaking of this though...

Keep in mind I am toppest tier in B8 history in terms of career mislynch percentage. I am not a town player who ever considers being mislynched a possibility.

'asking to be lynched' is figuratively speaking

assuming you are a death voter and die (and are town), the actual net loss of votes is 0. so lynching you at any point besides mylo/lylo is probably risk free. which means if you are scum, this is rather incredibly dumb. towns can become complacent and thus "oh, well, i have no better idea lets lynch the guy that claims once dead he still can play" and then its like "oh ok" and then it happens and etc

Sorry.
I mean that scum usually just kills whoever gets confirmed by a gambler the next night.
But with a role like you claimed, scum doesnt benefit much from killing it because they can still talk and vote.

What I mean is I've played mafia here since 2010, quite actively, and I've been lynched as town exactly 3 times (but really just 2).

One (the one that doesn't count) was a horrible game where it was MyLo and town was so inactive that scum felt confident enough to just pile onto any ol' townie right before deadline because we didn't consolidate our votes. Hardly counts as a "mislynch" considering 0 town voted me.

One was a final 3 where the other guy just got overcome by paranoia.

One was a day 1 where I had a legit brain fart and made a "perspective slip" because I interchanged the word town with scum or something to that effect, and people couldn't get over it.

OK, that makes sense

What do you think about Corrik puns? What's your take on him?

I did use the word 'evidently'. But I use that word like I use 'apparently'. As in 'apparently harris reacted way different in monster mafia'
