Prejudice against black people in the criminal justice system is both highly documented and uncontroversial. Black women almost always have less sentencing than any other women for the same crimes. It's moreso a problem with black men specifically getting longer sentences for comparable crimes. Hispanic men often get lesser sentences than white men too by the way.
