I was actually going to say that my country only has one sport that we actually succeed at. To be fair, it's a great sport and I really enjoy it, but some off season variety would be nice. Our 'football' is a fucking joke.

Hockey is great though. Also I feel like that's not even true. It's a stereotype for a reason but it's maybe 50-60% that really love hockey.

CFL is entertaining as fuck.

Also we've done exceptionally well at numerous sports on the world stage based on population. Mma track and field and even stars in baseball and basketball the last decade or so. Exceptionally well.

And since you did the football air quotes you do realize Christine Sinclair is literally on of the best women's soccer players in the history of ever, right?

I meant more that we have no NFL presence, basically no NBA teams, no basketball, no rugby, no football, no real coverage of lacrosse (one of our national sports), etc. Yeah, we have some amazing athletes, but Vancouver doesn't exactly have a national basketball team.

This, but it is a direct result of eight years of harmful decisions. Things didnt used to be like this. The same administration made it impossible to save enough for a down payment on a mortgage, otherwise we would all have a mortgage instead of a lease.

Queenstown is a horrible, horrible place where the scum of New Zealand go to exploit the shit out of tourists, then bitch about all the foreigners ruining everything.

It irks me that it's still considered a tourism must-see for people visiting NZ. If you want to experience the country, PLEASE ignore the people telling you to just go to Auckland and Queenstown.

british weather is terrible, i think im 70% more miserable because its constantly grey and overcast

and i wish we could have a more european way of life. as in less stressful, closer with family, more relaxed lifestyle, etc
