I used to be a moderator for a large private group on Bungie's website before Destiny launched, so I got experience handling shitty posters. GameFAQs is a different animal admittedly but I'd like to try at least. Been here for ages, so It'd be nice to help clean things up from time to time.

Fine by me, I don't really care, although making things read-me might make trolls do stuff and then be able to read the reactions they get from it if that is a goal.

His logic doesn't make sense. Dedicated trolls will always find a way to bypass any restriction, the stuff here is just low effort spamming of disgusting pictures and/or porn or a combination. It's done precisely because it doesn't take effort.

People can post a lot of it because it's so easy to get a multitude of alts ready to post here very quickly. If they had to wait awhile it wouldn't be such an attractive prospect to most.

That's what I said. If SBAllen truly believes this, and perhaps he has information that we don't know, then why have the 3-karma restriction in place for CE in the first place. Or why did he just recently implement a karma wall on the politics board? It won't stop it completely, but raising the karma requirement to, say, 25, will significantly curb on the trolling. These sick freaks know they only have to wait 3 days to post all these disgusting things, but 25 days, they might decide they can get their sick kicks in a better way.
