Trump's calls for civility are occurring in a context where he's trying to ameliorate political tensions where a crazed bomber is using his rhetoric as inspiration for his spree by immediately turning away from those calls for civility and is continuing the exact rhetoric that was inspiring the bomber in the first place. What kind of absolute moron do you have to be to ignore the context?

That's not the point. Yes. The attack itself was political. So was Scalise's. What I mean by politicizing is:

A) Republicans not using the Scalise's shooting to paint all Democrats as deplorable.

And

B) Democrats not using this bomb guys acts to paint all Republicans as deplorable.

Talking about the psyche of either guy is fine. I'm just saying this is just being treated more as a reason to attack the other side instead of actually talking about the actual issue. That is my concern and issue with these stories.
