I like this better than Before the Storm already. I probably prefer LiS:E1, but, ya know...both are good.

The racial tones are really interesting to see, from the shooting to the assumed theft to Pueblos Lobos being the next destination apparently. The bits of Spanish along the way are fun, though I'm in trouble if we make it to Mexico and a lot of the dialoge is in Spanish. I've seen at least two references to building a wall, too.

So Daniel has the power this game...that'll be neat. It's easy to like Brody right now, but there's no way he ain't selling us out for his blog.

I'm still a little confused on why the press's narrative became "children shot their father" -- like, is the officer just saying he didn't do it and made some story up on the kids? I thoight Brett witnessed it too. I imagine at one point these brothers will meet that officer who shot.

Were there differences to notice here depending on how you played LiS1? I saw the Arcadia Bay-sign...wonder if something changes there.

I liked the game as well. In my first playthrough, I lied to dad and then put money in the jar, which means that when I got on the road I had 30 cents to my name, lol.

I saw so many ways in hindsight to have money and save money (and steal to avoid money). I have to imagine there's some punishment if you steal from the donation boxes though.

yeah it's basically just there to make you feel bad if you do it

also I think it implied the officer died

and then the cops just followed the procedure of "when in doubt, blame the Mexican kids who fled"

Okay, so if the officer is implied to have died and these two main characters are implied to be the killers to the press in the game, then I'm missing the implication of who actually killed the officer in this scenario.

Well I think the game suggests Daniel actually did kill the officer

At the very beginning of the game it shows the officer getting thrown back into the street and his car getting flipped over by Daniel's blast
