If you looked at say general opinions among african immigrants (2nd generation), and black people in the country, you might see differing opinions, but it doesn't change the fact that they're all black, and there is significant overlap between the two.

Why would you distrust Amazon? Most of us rely on them to get us our shit on time, protect our credit card info, etc. They do that just fine and if there is a problem, their customer service is excellent. And theyre doing a better job at getting rid of fake reviews as far as I know.

Alnosy every single item I've ordered from them has arrived as promised and on time. And the very few times that the item was damaged or went missing, Amazon sent a replacement no questions asked. They have a great track record and there's no reason not to trust them.

But we're in America, so we're talking about things in this context. The very political system we're discussing is the one we inhabit. So when you're listening to the GOP and they say "the folks on the left say...", they're referring to you and me. And since words have cultural grounding, just accept that you are definitely further left than me, but we're both on the left. Unless of course you're not American, in which case oops I guess.
