In both smell and taste its an acquired taste. I disliked the smell at first but now I just catch a whiff of it and it makes me want some.

Not trying to convince you to try mind you just saying. If you never do it you can't miss it.

It's not my favorite thing or anything but I'd give it like a 6 or 7. My main complaint is I've had really inconsistent experiences with it. I know it's supposed to be "better" for you than alcohol, but at least when I drink alcohol I know what three beers feels like. With weed sometimes I've smoked like three bowls and barely felt it, other times I'd take only a couple hits and be totally blitzed

Well like there are different types of booze there are different strains of weed.

Eh it could be strains but it could be my weak little lungs. I'd always have friends tell me I'm not inhaling or holding it in enough. I have no idea if that's a myth or not though. Does it only matter how much you smoke, and not how hard you smoke it?

Regardless, with booze you just drink it and that's it. There isn't a "right" way to drink it that makes it more effective.

Holding it in does seem to help. Guess it gives the lungs more time to soak in the thc. You could just eat pot brownies or something to that effect if the smoking of it isn't to your liking. Probably healthier too cause smoking anything has to be bad on the lungs.

I could never take as big of tokes as other people but that never stopped me from getting high as fuck.

But yeah only reason I stick to drinking is cause its legal. But I'm not about to up and move to another state just so I can have it, its not that damn important. But if it does become legal where I live my drinking will be drastically reduced.

If your friends were telling you you're not inhaling then you probably weren't inhaling it into your lungs, as opposed to sucking the smoke and holding it in your mouth. I know this because that's what I did when I started smoking and my friends gave me some shit for it. I never got the holding it in thing myself. I hold it in for 1-2 seconds but I know people who hold it in for so long that they exhale no smoke at all, which is utterly pointless. Their lungs must be caked with resin.

It's a great ass plant. Whether I want to feel better or make something better than sober, it works.
Since I have a medical card, I pick the type of bud I want.

I just love so many aspects of it. It helps me deal with pain and sleep so well, as well as making like every form of entertainment better.

Once again there are different strains some do smell bad. Hell growing up their was a type we literally called skunk because of the smell. It was usually the really cheap shit too.

Yeah when I worked construction boss didn't give a shit about weed. Even on the job but if he even smelled booze on your breath (even if it was from getting shitfaced the night before) you where fired.

I also read this article where it had people from various professions anonymously admitting to drugs they did and there was a heart surgeon who said he smoked weed. Said just one joint after a day of work though just because his job was so stressful.
