Last night around ten eastern I voted. I got the message that says a vote has already been accepted from this place.

Then just now I voted using the same computer, expecting it would say my vote had already been counted, but it said "4 votes accepted."

I'd go ahead and send a feedback ticket to Allen seeing if he can remove those votes just in case.

I got DQ'd in 2007 because I accidentally double voted in one match.

I voted the first time from my laptop then when I was checking the results today from my phone (while logged in with this same account) it is prompting me to vote again...I assumed it would reject the second vote but there might be some glitch in the system due to the extra vote count for registered users.

That's what I'm saying. Last night it told me a vote had already been counted but today that message was gone.

I voted at home last night, and when I came into work today, the front page is telling me to vote again, even though I'm signed in.

Yeah, something is going on. My phone said the thanks for voting thing and now its showing the matches like I never voted at all. Im not voting a second time to see if it will say Ive already voted because I know I already voted

I voted this morning on a computer;
Now I just logged on with another computer (still with my account that I used when I voted), and it's asking me to vote again.

I'm pretty sure it's a cookie thing, because after voting last night, if I switch accounts (on this same computer) it still shows the "Thanks for voting" banner instead of showing the matches again.

It's a small deterrent against people at least attempting to cheat, as opposed to the old days when the poll would be actively sitting on the home page for the full day.
