mrhardy12 10/17/18 3:25:05 AM #1:	What version of split-screen do you prefer for two-player games? - Results (8 votes) Left-right Split-screen 50% (4 votes) 4 Top-bottom Split-screen 50% (4 votes) 4 Trying to gauge what people typically like. For me, it's left/right. Top/bottom feels like it squishes the screen too much. Three or four player is pretty obvious - Mario Kart got that right all the way back in Super Mario Kart. Four screens on either, with a camera feed on the "extra" screen on three player. --- MH4U, OR, AC:NL, and Fantasy Life: FC 4897-6142-9063 Do not attack a person directly. DeltaBladeX 10/17/18 3:54:30 AM #4:	Depends on both the aspect ratio and genre. With the old games that displayed at 4:3 ratio, always a horizontal split. However, you're correct - I chose the wrong word. I meant horizontally, my mistake. A minor one since the meaning can still be ascertained from the rest of the sentence, but a mistake nonetheless. I'm a native English speaker (I lived in Florida for 20+ years, now living in Arizona; I have only been outside of the USA on a cruise one time), but even I can make a simple mistake.
