Been on a movie kick lately at work. The last week or two I've watched both John Wick movies, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and Deadpool 2.

Any other suggestions? Kind of in an action mood, I guess. But I'm open to other ideas too.

I haven't seen either of those. Baby Driver sounds like a decent option for tonight. I'll keep The Raid in mind next time.

What are the movies on the list that you wouldn't consider seeing?

Cause every movie I listed is pretty damn good.

if you've seen Dredd (2012), it's similar in plot to the first Raid.

if you haven't seen Dredd, then that's also recommended.

I'm sure if they're your style of film then they'd be great. But they're not mine. If someone says "I don't like romance movies" you're not going to recommend Sleepless in Seattle, are you? They're probably not going to enjoy it. Doesn't mean it's a bad movie. It's just not for them.

But none of those movies are even in the same style or genre, like, even remotely, so I don't understand your point.

Marston is a biopic.

Blackklansman is a comedy/drama.

The Shape of Water is a Fantasy Romance

La La Land is a musical.

I'm just trying to understand why those films are hard "never even gonna check these out ever".

I saw 2 I really enjoyed last weekend.

Three Billboards (while Coen Brothers are over the top dark comedy, this one is over the top Coen Brothers. Best work of theirs imo)

The Girl on the Train (real mind fuck psychological thriller. First 15 minutes or so, I couldn't follow what the fuck was going on, but once one detail happened that was sorta the first piece of the puzzle, it had a great build up. Feels like a disjointed mess at first, but in the end is a finely crafted story)

Because I don't like dramas, romances, musicals, or biopics? I'm not sure why this is so hard for you to grasp, or why you're so butthurt over it. They're not my kind of movies. I won't find them entertaining. They're probably very good films technically speaking, but they simply would not likely be enjoyable for me.

It's not adding up dude.

Literally all I'm asking is why those movies are hard "refuse to watch" movies for you. You're the one getting defensive bro.

What's different about those movies that makes you think you wouldn't like them?

Exactly, like, that's the majority of films. >_>

I'm really not getting what his argument here is, other than just stubbornly refusing to watch those 4 specific movies, cause his "I don't like 4 entire giant genres" doesn't match up with what he says he's already watched.
