We can't know for sure but I think you are overestimating Cloud.
I don't think he is anywhere near Mario, and is probably near Sonic (or maybe even lower).

Nah, the victories over Missingno and Auron were pretty huge. I don't think beating Zelda would be bigger than those. Comparable, but not bigger.
