Ffx doesn't tend to be a priority due to creative differences. I do like Tidus, Seymour, and Yuna bunches though.

Creative difference insure FFX practically never gets my saves despite it being one of my favorites.

Let me explain: I just saved stuff I liked to start. Then inviso mocked Steiner and that annoyed me because I am always a fan of the little guy so I got it into my head to push Steiner.

Basically to achieve success you need to either be vivi or have allies and work together somewhat. It is less team vs fan base and more team mates. But that is because I always have goals in mind. Even if every year isn't a championship year for me

Like no secret I have worked closely with koala for years. I like koala. Makes it easy for me work with him. I also like Vincent. Same with Lefty, I like Cecil.

It is a bit of both. Would never save anything I hate just to be friendly. At least long term.

It depends. Like, Wiegraf and Cloud are my favorites. Seifer is a lowkey project because the poor guy never does well. I'll save them no matter what.

But there are a ton of other characters I like. (Sabin, Zack, Yuffie, Sephiroth, Zell, Fujin, Vivi, Kuja, Jecht, Tidus, Auron, Delita, Dr. Mog, etc.) I'm rarely short of options. So, if someone's being annoying, I'm less inclined to save their character over another equally good option.

But then it gets down to, say, top 5 and I'm back to just saving whoever I like most.
