I gotta say, I miss having more time to read up and post about a Contest here. That being said - I have one question (maybe it was addressed earlier, but I am way behind on contest discussion) -

I don't see anyone talking about Draven. Is everyone that convinced that the League of Legends community has moved on and doesn't care enough to screw up another contest?

Because there is no way this contest will have as high of vote totals as 2k13 - even with the user bonus added in. I feel like if they wanted to, LoL could easily bring in enough votes to crush everyone again. Is everyone convinced that they don't want to anymore?

League of Legends doesn't allow rallies on its Subreddit anymore, so I wouldn't worry about Draven.

Either way, at this point I really think I would be more surprised if Link did win the contest. With the way the last few contests have gone and declining vote totals, I strongly feel some character will be rallied to victory again. History repeats itself. It's just a matter of whether it's a rally we see coming or one that comes out of left field.

These are the characters I have seen mentioned as having at least some rally potential -

Monika
D.Va
Waluigi
Geralt
Draven
Sans
LBlock
Monokuma

Which - if any - concern you the most?

Draven and Sans are unlikely but possible because they are proven commodities

I'm not really concerned about the others

I'm worried about Monika getting enough of a rally drummed up that she beats Wario

then after that she's gonna snowball, probably to pikachu

i think it will be hard to get past Wario but the DDLC subreddit is already in a state of soft mobilization, they won't be enough alone though so it worries me more that the Monika twitter account or the facebook shitlords are gonna hop on the bandwagon too

the best we can hope for is to somehow not draw more attention to the contest the day of her match

once her shit is done then i think we have the potential to be rally-free

What happened to Missingno. in it's match against Sephiroth years ago? I asked about rally potential this year and thought about Missingno's rally against Crono. That stupid thing should have been able to build up momentum and steamroll to the finals based on it's first round. Does anyone remember what happened in that Sephiroth match?
