The ammo system in 3 takes some getting used to, but its very useful once you figure it out. The worst part of the game is the finicky dodge system, which is necessary to survive the Operation Mad Jackal minigame.

the dodge system id say takes more getting used to, but it tends to work. the hard part is knowing when to use it since the closed in areas usually still means a hit. wouldnt even attempt to use it on nemmy in hallways. the ammo system is nice though. really happy to see it return for RE2 remake.

Tagging for RE3. Been replaying through the series myself over the past two months, and actually just finished up RE3 the other day. It was a lot tougher than I remember, especially coming straight from 2. Good luck!

You can only play as Jill in 3, but there is a quest with a side character halfway through the game. Its not as tedious as the ones with Rebecca or in RE2 though.

Honestly, RE3 and Code Veronica probably should have been swapped. RE3 is much more of a side story than CV is.

RE3 has a few new game mechanics and extras which, imo, add more replay value than its two predecessors. Tbh it's my second favorite game on the PS1 (MGS being #1).
