Stage 4 is annoying, so far got it down to 7 turns with 2 echelons, apparently you can do it in 5 with 3 echelons but i'm too lazy to figure it out >_>

Two echelons? Damn, I don't want to waste that amount of time. I did it in five with three, which is kinda helpful since you'll always get the S-rank for the map (21 kills). I think it's the same as you normally do it with 4, except you take an extra turn getting to the far right heliport.



Oh well, time for missiles. Do extra characters have any type of usage restrictions for the campaign?

Does S-ranking the event maps actually matter? Is that the only way to get Noel to drop, like the limited drops from the normal story chapters?

I don't think it has any relevance besides upping the chances for a Noel drop (probably).

S ranks is the requirement for limited drops so i'd assume you'd want one from the stage if you wanted to try to get noel earlier, other than that its with the ticket thingy? the seithr's you get daily.

shotgun what do you do with 3 echelons? i can run 3 and i got more than enough units, i just haven't tried it lol

Going from memory:

Pre-mission
Spawn boss-killing unit on southern heliport (I used a Thompson party)
Spawn 1st generic-killing unit on control center (I used a UMP party)

Turn 1
Thompson goes north once
UMPs go left twice
Spawn 2nd generic-killing unit on control point (I used an IDW team)

Turn 2
Thompson goes east three spaces
UMPs go left once, then back right once

Turn 3
Thompson moves east twice to take heliport (now out of ammo)
UMPs (now out of ammo) go right once, switch with IDW team
Move IDW team left once

Turn 4
Thompson team moves four spaces to heliport just north of 2nd generic-killing unit (one-way path)
IDW moves left once

Turn 5
Thompson team moves 7 spaces to boss

I think that's how it goes. You should be able to figure out the gist if you try.

As for Noel, you'll have a 100% chance of getting her on the 99th seithr you open. But yeah, since Noel's a five-star (well, one-star "Extra") drop of sorts, I don't really have any optimism in getting the drop. The S-ranking's just incidental and hard to mess up if you do the above.

Elphelt dummy links at the same rate as a 5*, so I'm guessing the drop rates for Noel are like 5*s. And by that, I mean absolutely terrible. Speaking of, has anyone here ever gotten a 5* to drop through a map? I tried grinding 416 about forty times and gave up, lmao.

Someone eventually got PK from 0-2, I think. Someone tried 1.2K times for that Kosmos-lookin' one and failed, though.

iirc only if you kill her while the unit is still retreating on the screen, if they fully retreat you lose the S rank

Yeah, I'll probably pass on these two. I don't have M99 and probably wouldn't use her even if I did get her, and I don't like Super Shorty's costume over her normal one. I might just start saving tokens for whatever costume gacha might come later, or go try and get some of the old ones in the radiant collection.

Fun fact, M99's damaged art in this costume actually does feature her calling the police.
