Not sure what the laughing gas was for as it didnt really feel like it did anything. Pain starting to set in but I didnt get my pain meds and antibiotics yet.

I'm fairly sure they gave me nitrous AND IV sedation when I lost mine.

The bottom ones were at a 45 degree angle and under a sheet of bone.

I got mine taken out a year ago or so.
I was put under anesthesia for mine, so I slept through the whole thing.
Apparently I tried to stand up and walk immediately after waking up.

The holes where my teeth were taken out oozed blood for about 6 hours before they finally coagulated enough to stop.

They gave me IBU 800s and Percs, but I never really had any pain.

i ended up ripping the laughing gas mask off when i had mine done, it was on too high and i was passing out. novacain shots worked just fine.

hope the holes heal up fine. took a while for my gums to fuse back together on one side.

most no longer prescribe opioids, did they give you high strength ibuprofen?

Not sure he just said pain meds. Might just be ibuprofen. I took some spare Advils and it at least got rid of my headache but the pain still hurts bad. At Publix right now picking up my antibiotics and whatever pain stuff he prescribed.

Doc prescribed me the good shit afterwards, but I'm not sure that made up for the actual torture.

34 years old and never got them removed. I asked a dentist and she said as long as it's not causing me discomfort I might as well keep them.

it's like reliving that pain over and over again but you can't make it stop :(.

I wasnt put to sleep. Laughing Gas just made me smile.

So i got zero sleep as the pain kept me up. I took a hydrocodone and 10 minutes later I knocked out as the pain went away. Woke up 3 hrs later as the pain came back. Might see if i can get some medical MJ.

I got my uppers removed. Got a weeks supply of hydro.

You'll be fine for the first 2 days. Hardest part is all that blood.

You'll get system shock after day 3 tho.

Got em out earlier this year

Didn't really think it 'hurt' after. Guess it could be irritating at times though.

Worst part is that I couldn't eat properly for like 2 weeks after. I had a lot of soup.

got my top left and bottom left ones taken out like a month ago, getting rid of bottom right in like a week. the first 2 or 3 days weren't fun, but it wasn't particularly painful, just annoying. got antibiotics and ibuprofen, sutures dissolved in like a week, pretty much fully healed in 2 weeks

I got all four wisdom teeth removed in three appointments. About 3 months ago. The top ones I felt close to no pain for the entire recovery. The ones that caused me problems were the bottom ones. After each time they were removed I was able to open mouth wider, talk without pain after 4 days.

Funny story, when I was 18, dirt poor, and without insurance I split my back molar in half and the pain was unbearable to where breathing sent searing pain... went crazy with pain and tried to take it out myself with pliers... dont do that... tooth shattered immediately giving me the worst pain Ive ever felt followed by immediate numbness.

About 8000 worth of dental surgery and debt, I got it removed and an implant put in.

Anyhow, sucks a bit, I didnt bother with pain meds after I got my wisdom teeth removed (years later).... never liked oxycotin, and Ive always had a job where I needed to go regardless of my physical condition.

I would probably use them now, and take days off, but Ive the luxury of job and financial security I didnt have when I was younger.

The pain goes away, swelling goes down. Youll be fine just dont use straws or smoke
