I'm taking my Switch with me for the commute, as well as a small power bank that'll probably get it back up to about half charge if push comes to shove. Do you guys think I should start saving some reading material for the train ride?

that switch might get you 7 or so hours with the power bank, try to sleep some, watch a movie or youtube on your phone, listen to music while window watching.

Man, by the second hour my legs are going to be aching like a bitch. I cannot hold a sense of wonder for that long. And even then, It'll be another 3 hours on a. Train, then four hours off a train on foot, then another 8 hours by train.

I checked the prices, it was too rich for my blood - the train ticket was $260, for first class there and back which is better than last time when I travelled economy, which is a lot more reasonable. I'm going to see my dad in Northern NSW near the coast. The trip to Sydney by car is 5 hours, and up to this place would maybe be 8 - this train ride is around 13 hours with a stop in Sydney for 4 hours. So I mean there is a rest stop, but I'm gonna be on my feet there as well.
