I wish they guy in front of the cat would have stayed still long enough to get a clearer image. Why tf wouldnt you stay still long enough to get a clear image? Otherwise, whats the point of the experiment?

Assuming that what is implied from the video is true, I have two possible answers.

1. Our brains are more developed

2. Humans also have really bad facial perception, and cats and other animals are actually physically much different than how we perceive them. The face we see when we look at a cat may just be a humanized version of what the cats physical shape actually is. Kinda makes sense, seeing as how our brains are programmed to recognize human faces very quickly, which is why we often see faces in the clouds, a cluster of tree leaves, etc.
