Near as I can tell, Seph is just one of those "anything that makes the libs angry makes me happy" types.

For real though how many justices can the chamber accommodate.

I'm thinking we start with 11 and then depending on how the GOP acts we go all the way to 15.

And with that...

RING THE FUCKING BELL

BRETT "THE HITMAN" KAVANAUGH IS THE NEXT JUSTICE OF THE SUPREME COURT

Conservatives have a true majority and are set to stop 50+ years of the Left using the Court to further their unpopular/unconstitutional agenda instead of allowing it to occur democratically.

Incredible

Really the only word I can use to properly convey this feeling right now. This is the biggest victory for liberty and American conservatism since the end of the Cold War. Get used to saying "Justice Kavanaugh," because you will likely be saying that until you are at least SIXTY YEARS OLD.

A one-two punch!

Not only was this a great political victory for conservatives, but this hopefully is the DEATH BLOW for the horrendously illiberal, dirty, slimy, witch hunt that is the #MeToo movement. Feminism deserves better than "Believe all women" and "her truth"-ing. Hopefully this signals the beginning of the end for this disgraceful era of American history. @ExThaNemesis

The Media exposed

I have never been a fan of labeling everything Fake News, but this whole process was so transparently biased that I think people are starting to open their eyes. Never before have we seen so many Democrat talking points echoed by their Media counterparts so blatantly and so obviously with the intention to sink this nomination.

BUT WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THAT KAV COULD SWIM TO SHORE

After the manipulative liar Christine Blassey Ford perjured herself in front of the Senate, so many talking heads said that it was over for The Hitman. But he came out swinging, and by the end of his Lincolnian 45-minute opening remarks, he had his opponents in an inescapable Sharpshooter.

There is no taking this victory away

Win the Senate in the midterms (won't happen), win the White House in 2020 (won't happen)--it doesn't matter. This is the most profound victory for the movement in generations. All you can do is cry, qq, cry moar, qq more, and *gasp* FIND SOMETHING BETTER TO DO THAN WORRY ABOUT POLITICS. You now have a Supreme Court that will no longer butt into your everyday life.

In closing

The Left put everything they had against it--from saying millions will die, to smearing Judge Kavanaugh's name, to literally fabricating rape allegations--and nevertheless we persisted and emerged with the W. Thank you Susan Collins. Thank you Lindsey Graham. Thank you Chuck Grassley. Thank you Mitch McConnell. Thank you President Trump. This is our World Series. We'll be flying this banner for life.

So... @UltimaterializerX -- the only question that remains is... HOW DO WE FLY ALL OF THESE Ws???

:)

It's not about questioning the allegations. Of course they should be questioned. But the fact that there are people seriously calling our society a "feminist matriarchy" just because of this isn't just absurd, it's VERY thinly-veiled sexism.

Like I said, at this point I'm convinced many bigots are just spotlighting "political correctness gone mad" to justify their racism or sexism or whatever other -ism or -phobia. I can't believe I got swept up in all this just because James Rolfe was attacked by feminists over not wanting to see Ghostbusters.

The Supreme Court can do whatever it wants. I'd assume a transparent court packing bill after nuking the filibuster (the only way it would ever happen) would get shot down by the 5 conservatives on the bench.

Anyway, you all will stop caring about this once you realize a conservative SCOTUS will have way less impact on your life than a liberal SCOTUS.

That would trigger a constitutional crisis. But court packing won't work with the public and Democrats are way too incompetent at Congress to make it happen. They could barely pass Obamacare with 60 senators!

In the meantime, we can get some rulings protecting gerrymandering and entrenching that House majority.

Not really, a law would have to work it's way through the lower courts before even reaching the SC for a proper ruling. Dems could use the time to quickly confirm two justices with the simple majority and then those two new liberal justices would be ruling on said law.

An all-male republican senate judiciary committee (who said no women have ever served on the committee in their party cause it would be "too much work") just appointed a guy with multiple sexual assault allegations to the supreme court.

The women were not believed because it was inconvenient for the men in power (they believed Al Franken's accusers, though, because that was politically beneficial to them).

Women in this story come across as pawns at best, not a controlling force.
