Now I was recently diagnosed with an auto-immune condition that can cause major brain changes. Not trying to brag but I was a really bright kid, always top of the class. I even went to an International Baccalaureate high school and was on track to be valedictorian until my problems started. I could have went to Harvard but now Im a homeless schizophrenic alcoholic. I think that a lot of the time, whatever it is goes undiagnosed for so long that by the time they get it figured out the damage is done and it's completely life-ruining. How different would your life have been if they could have found it earlier and started treatment right away? Hopefully you can still turn it around somehow. Get yourself some assistance, rent an apartment, maybe get some PT employment to give your life a bit of purpose and direction. It won't be easy by any means but it can be done. I was sick with different stuff over the last year, like a skin infection and a cough, then recently my chest was in so much pain when I tried to eat (or swallow) anything that I ended up in the hospital. My lungs had cavities in them and my esophagus had fungus/perforations.
