Maddox, for one - just some rando who acted like an asshole for comedic purposes, before it went to his head and he started valuing his own opinion to the detriment of his friends, family and fans. A guy who's so convinced that he's right that he crashed a court hearing from someone trying to get a restraining order, because he believes that he has a right to face his accuser and defend himself in court at all times. There's this air of always being right, and being strong and manly and shit - every shitty pseudo-intellectual comment he makes to clinch a victory, every one of his "Checkmate atheists" comments, falling flat and making him look like a more despicable and loathable human being.

You see this on CE too, with people going "I know you like the idea of a police state, buddy, but that makes you wrong :)" over something like CE users supporting the sex offender registry - it's trolling, sure, but would anyone of sound mind actually sit in a chair for 2+ hours posting shit to rile other people up? What is sane about steeping yourself in that sort of discourse for the sole purpose of "triggering" those you disagree with? Why do you waste your life trying to land "gotcha" posts on people you don't like? What's the deal with making your online presence so obnoxious and unlikeable that 90% of a board's population actively hates you?

It's not sane. Folks are fucking crazy, and I pray you find a healthier outlet before it goes to your head and it ruins/ends your life.

Dumb people can't separate opinions and emotional reasoning from facts and logic. They feel therefore it's true.
