And "producer" has never really been a credit most people care about, because it usually just means you're the money, or the person making sure everyone else gets their resources. With Star Wars, not only is she personally and directly in charge of the entire franchise, it's also one of the most fanboy-heavy franchises in the history of human entertainment. That basically makes her the #1 target, in an arena where the complaints are going to be rapid-fire and vitriolic as hell. Keep in mind, these same people were more than willing to demand Lucas be burned at the stake for the prequels. Kennedy isn't unique in this position - and she's going to be the obvious target for anyone who is dissatisfied with the current direction of the films. And anti-SJW rage is only part of the equation. A lot of the backlash has almost nothing to do with that. I may someday watch it, but honestly there aren't any characters I care about.
