Lee Camp's "Redacted Tonight" is probably my favorite political show overall though and you should watch it

I said DUI laws aren't really set up to fit the crime and that there was better ways to punish people for them. No one boohooed about being upset about the penalties for them. Get real. If you can't argue my points without going ad hominem (which shows you already lost the argument) then at least try and not make shit up as you go. Too often I see other Christians who seemed to skip the New Testament or at least have an incredibly selective memory.

It could potentially be an issue for the Liberals in Quebec - Quebec often responds to the slightest hint of change to the supply management system in the dairy industry like the apocalypse is coming. The NDP could gain some ground because of it (which in turn helps the Conservatives since they rarely win seats in Quebec anyway), although I think most people will end up blaming Trump more than Trudeau, especially since Trudeau will probably always make sure to remind people that Trump doesn't seem to realize there was already a huge dairy trade deficit in the US's favour. He can probably get people to think it was unavoidable due to Trump being stubborn and dumb, while his opponents will have to argue that the big problem is that Trump's successor isn't exactly going to give anything back to us.

Outside of Quebec there's probably not going to be much impact - the deal isn't all that big a change, so people who like Trudeau will talk about how great he is for getting most of what he wanted while people who dislike him will talk about how shitty he is for making concessions to merely maintain the status quo in other areas and no one will really change their mind

From my Jewish understanding, the entire point of the new testament is that it is a new covenant with God, and that the previous covenant takes a big big big backseat to everything with the new covenant. That's why Christians don't care about kosher, for example - the laws of Leviticus have effectively been discounted because of the new covenant.
