Can anyone tell me why a university would enforce such a stupid rule? I've always backed in every parking space ever because it makes it easier to drive out of one. I'm a part time accounting professor by the way for those asking.

Lol was just about to say this was probably at a university. I got a ticket for doing this exact shit and I wasn't even going at the time. I just went into use their library. I laughed and just threw it away. Only way they can enforce it is if you're a student

Still don't understand why people do this. It's easier to back out of a spot than into one. You aren't saving any time or effort. Just park like a normal person.

Probably too many jackasses trying to steal spots if someone attempts to back in. I don't know about your college but the parking lot at mine was like the thunderdome.

The lady I was talking to (security guard) was surprised we even enforced that rule because she even confessed that she backs into parking spaces as well lol. Axiom posted... It is for students since you would be forced to pay when you graduate pay tuition or whatever. They can't do shit if they have no way to compel you though
