I don't even think I deal with right wings on a daily occasion, only really my mom's boyfriend and yeah he gets heated against Democrats (not a trump supporter at least).

Haven't seen many leftists in my life triggered, only one but I never clashed with her. Think maybe the triggering is tied more to religion or mental illness than politics.

Opposite for me. I'm on the left but most people around here are on the right, including most of my friends. I argue politics with them from time to time and it has always been a calm conversation.

My friends on the left refuse to associate with my friends on the right, and regularly blow up at myself and others for disagreeing with them about anything.

Pretty much. Then again most right wing people I know are older and have their head on straight. As in they think youre fucking your kid up if you let him go to school with lipstick on and they enjoy lower taxes than under Obama.

The smartest and most reasonable left leaning people I know dont actually have great arguments either. A right wing adult would be pissed that the government wants $40k when he sells one of the houses he owns outside the state he has residency in and the leftist responds well yeah, but theyre rich sooo..

my mom is a hardcore conservative. she spends about 17 hours a day being outraged/offended about various things (gay characters on TV shows she doesnt watch, people not saying merry christmas, etc) and the remaining 7 hours sleeping
