Some primal trickle in their brains/DNA is unconciously telling them "Taller male = superior male who can protect the offspring" that makes them more attractive

Personality isn't a visible thing. Women or men aren't going to approach you because you look like you have a nice personality. They approach people who they find attractive.

Okay, but statistically speaking, the taller you are the better your chances are.

If you're taller then on top of having people approach you, you can also initiate the conversation yourself. Then there's the women who have the whole "don't talk to me if youre under..." bios. There's just more opportunities.

Nobody's saying you can't get any if you're short if that's what the anecdote was being used to debunk. It's just a much easier game when you're taller and I feel that is hardly contestable. You have all the options short people have and more.

most the women i know aren't dating or married to guys b/c of height. most of them are 6ft or shorter.

Won't help...etc. I've been with women that are taller than me and they don't care about height because if they really do love you, then superficial things like height doesn't matter. They found other things attractive about me that wasn't height related.

Sure, being tall would be a nice cherry on top. It won't make or break a relationship though. If it does, you're looking for the wrong woman.

But why does the tall guy always have to be the scumbag? You can just as well find a tall guy with great character and his height will certainly add to his attractiveness.
