I'm at the mid game. No spoilers please. Early game was pretty slow though.

The radio has to be best since San Andreas or vice city. And Native son is such an apologist radio station that sells it so well lol

I really love that game's approach to storytelling. How do you feel about the missions? I know a lot of the criticism was about how repetitive they are.

I think it's a great game, and isn't necessarily as repetitive as some make it out to be (but it is still repetitive, to be sure). Just don't do any racket missions once you've done enough damage already; there's no point to it besides scavenging for extra cash. Keeping to doing only what you need to advance the story helps the pacing and makes it feel less repetitive.

But yeah, the story telling is amazing. I loved the documentary style and watching the cutscenes. Also, Donovan is one my favourite VG characters ever.

I love that game and it's dlc. Missions were a bit repetitive, but I liked them, so it didn't really bother me much. I got really into roleplaying as Lincoln to the point where if some npc on the street uttered something racist at me I'd knock them out even if it was a woman or a cop.

The documentary style is what immediately drew me in.

I felt that after the game kind of fails in switching mission styles after what happens at Sammy's. You go from focused story missions that jump from past- to-present to taking neighborhoods with what feels like a bunch of fluff.

Cassandra is my least favorite underboss as her tutorial setting really left a bad taste for me.

One thing of mention is the guns feel great. I always have a hard time deciding what I want to take with me.

Really awesome game, amazing soundtrack, and it just felt so fun shooting up racist rednecks.
