My current smartphone performs all of my needs. The features of future smartphones aren't relevant towards my daily activities.

Got a Note 4 because my coworker had the Note 3 and I thought it was awesome. The Note 4 had the basic features I was looking for (expandable memory, replaceable battery, etc.). I still use it to this day.

If it ever gives out on me I'll probably do some research before buying again, since I get the feeling Samsung has slightly changed since 2014 or whenever the Note 4 came out.

Galaxy S9+ and iPhone 8+ are the highest models I own from those companies at the moment. Soon to get the Xs.

I own a Samsung, mainly because I'm cheap and I disliked both Apple's UI and their products are overpriced for what they are.

I have an S5 but the battery is a bit weak and will get another Samsung soon.

Note 8 atm, but I've also owned other android phones besides Samsung prior. I had an LG previously. Last iPhone I had was the 3GS. iTunes and general file management being hot garbage is what made me switch.

bought it because at the time i thought it was objectively the best smartphone on the market, and i use my phone pretty often.

probably will not get another iphone though due to the insane price. i still think they're the best but it's not worth spending over $1k.

Yes, I have a Samsung phone. I'd rather get a device with a purer Android version, but they're not so bad. I stick with Samsung since they usually have some of the best tech in an Android phone. You can't best a nice OLED screen.

We're a bit of an Apple household (the two of us). We have 3 iPhones (we have an X each, the 3rd is my old decommissioned one), 2 iPads, 2 MacBook laptops, 1 appleTV contraption. Nothing Samsung, the TVs are Sony >_>
Why ? I don't know why, we just got used to mac/apple stuff over the years. Why change when they're nice, work perfectly, are fast and suit our needs perfectly well.
