I'm confused. What am I meant to be doing with it, exactly? It it's going online to do various things, like read Wikipedia, stream things on YouTube, and view news websites, I can easily do that on my PC.

I like the way that everybody told me having a smart phone would revolutionise my life, but it's barely moved the needle. Why did I get lied to so much?

Well, when you are out for a walk or ride (someone else driving), instead of enjoying the scenery, you can bury your face is in your phone, wikiwalking and shitposting.

Ok, that's not a good use of it.

But having the Internet in your pocket is very convenient when you actually need it, and don't have to wait until you get home or have space to open a laptop.

Sometimes I like to lay down while browsing. Can't do that with my PC. I mean, I can change the resolution to see things but that'll mess up window sizes and I can't have that. And I also can't bring my PC to the terrace hammock.

I'm the complete opposite. I feel like I have no use for a at home PC anymore because of my smart phone. I only use a desktop at work now. And even then I could probably do my work on my phone.

Your smartphone can be a music studio, a film making suite, a photography studio, a writing pad, a sketch pad, a GPS map for exploring... and tons of more creative endeavors all in one little device in your pocket. If you're struggling with that, the issue is possibly with your own imagination/creativity.
