Full Throttle 09/19/18 1:26:36 AM #1:	Does Jill look old for a 30 y/o? - Results (0 votes) Yes % (0 votes) 0 No % (0 votes) 0 30 y /o Jill Lamontagne, a former high school health teacher in Maine who was made infamous for having sex with a student who was 17 at the time and was ACQUITTED for it has revealed she now works at a small DINER in town and sees a trauma counselor to help with her stress. She resigned from her 5 year post at Kennebunk High School after being accused with the then 17 y/o student who she had been giving homework help to so he could graduate. Now the 19 y/o student testified that they had participated in sex acts at the school and her home. She was found not guilty of all charges after a 2 hour jury deliberation and since then she was fired and could only find a job working as a diner waitress and spending time with her husband, Steve and 2 kids aged 4 and 5. She also handles calls from media organizations and taking notes for a book about her experience. She's been seeing a counselor to deal with stress of the accusation despite the acquittal. Jill says "I don't get my job back, attorney fees back, the old version of me back. I dont get rid of the trauma, i'm innocent, that's it" She holds the school officials responsible for what happened and called them out for not "defending" her and assisted the police in building a case against her. Kathryn Hawes, the superintendent said it's not in their role to build a case againt anyone All Jill says what happened was that she was helping the unruly boy with his shcool work and that he had emotional troubles. She said she didn't refer him to counselling because she didn't think they'd get along and opted to do it HERSELF.. She said she would STILL do the same thing today and thought she did the right thing to help a kid in a rough spot and didn't think he'd turn on her this way Jill is now exploring other career options such as nursing and holistic health as she's not sure if he wants to get back into teaching as her career have been eclipsed after this.
