I think its better. But I could see a lot of B.B. fans watching a few episodes in season 1 and stop watching.

Eventually, it really fleshes out a lot of the Breaking Bad universe/backstory. It has everything that made Breaking Bad great, the cinematography, casting, writing. Good but too drawn out to be as good as BB. The writing is sometimes weak too.

i watched season 1 and it was excellent. i havent watched season 2 yet but i plan to. it was definitely on par with breaking bad
