Obi-Wan vs Darth Maul, intense choreographed fight with flips & kicks. So cool

Yoda vs Count Dooku, this little old fragile cane using alien weve known for decades suddenly jumping around and using a miniature lightsaber. So cool.

Anakin vs Obi-Wan: 10+ minutes intense duel next to lava and volcanoes, amazing special effects. So cool.

Definitely. Prequels has some narrative issues and some clunky dialogue, but had some great actions sequences and it really expanded the universe. Unlike the sequels....

i agree about the maul and anakin fights being good but i found the yoda vs dooku one pretty lame lol

but the kylo and rey saber battle against all those guards was pretty cool

Obi VS Darth in ANH isn't good but it was between a giant and an old man so like...no shit

, but the Luke VS Vader fights in ESB and ROTJ stomp all over the overly flashy fake shit in the prequels.

Action doesn't always make the series. And Luke Skywalker versus Darth Vader from Empire Strikes Back is the best fight so far.

Even in action sequences, presentation and storytelling mean more than choreography.

The fights in PT had no weight in their swings. They were just carrying out the choreography like a dance rehearsal.

Any of The Old Republic cinematics are better than all the saber battles in the whole movie franchise.

Quite frankly the more lightsabers on the screen the better. Theyre bright & shiny & badass.

1 lightsaber is cool
2 lightsabers is great
100 lightsabers at the same time is fantastic

They should top the arena battle by showing an army of a thousand Jedi charging towards another army.

Eh. The prequel duels have their place, and are definitely fun to watch.

But the OT duels looked like actual sword fights, and there's something to be said for the sheer, visceral fight at the end of TFA, as much as I dislike the Sequels.

its like people dont understand that the luke was never trained in lightsaber combat, obiwan was old and vader was a cripple, the prequels were meant to have faster duels because they were all trained well.
