I really liked the movie and want to get the comic book. Just wondering if the comic book is as good/better than the movie.

I didn't like the movie very much, but the comic isn't bad. The tones are completely different between the two. The movie makes no effort to be anything more than a poor man's A Monster Calls, while the book has a much more lighthearted, goofy sort of vibe.

Well, I liked the movie, so our tastes are probably opposite. So if you liked the comic, I probably won't like it. --- There are more than two genders, try to change my mind ... Copied to Clipboard!

The comic was great...if a little hammy. Didn't know there was a movie, I don't see the story translating to film very well.

They're very similar, but A Monster Calls is much, much better. --- My arts- http://gopherguy.deviantart.com/ ... Copied to Clipboard!
