Baseball requires actual hand-eye coordination and running speed. Football is just a bunch of guys with dadbods who tackle each other.

Some positions in football definitely require hand-eye coordination (quarterbacks, wide receivers, defensive players besides the linemen) and running speed (running backs, wide receivers, defensive players including the linemen) to be good at them, so your description is just blatantly ignorant and incorrect. I would say that the average baseball player is a better athlete than the average football player, solely because linemen, kickers, and (to a smaller extent) quarterbacks drag the football average down more than pitchers and designated hitters drag it down for baseball. But to say that all baseball players are better athletes than all football players is total bullshit.

As a baseball fan, nah. There's plenty of guys in baseball who wouldn't make it in football, you don't have to be as fast to make it in the big leagues compared to even the big guys in the NFL. Lots of baseball players who jiggle when they run, because they only have to jog around the bases when they hit a home run.

To be a great running back or wide receiver on the NFL level you have to be an exceptional athlete. Same with the defensive players who cover those offensive positions. And then with offensive linemen or quarterbacks, you have to be smart with a good memory to digest the playbooks in the pro's.
