I'm looking for a strategy guide with a good synopsis of the game. I want to introduce my non-MGS fan friends to the story, and I want a good guide that isn't too expensive.

Out of the fair few MGS3 game guides out there, what guide does the story the most justice? I want to have a story that's rich enough to share with my friends, while not being too thick to get into as a beginner.

I was going to recommend the old geocities one but that covers every single thing except the story. I don't know, I doubt you'll find anything satisfactory on that front. And I say this as someone who used to contribute towards MGS guides.

MGS3 synopsis:

Ocelot is an American double agent, EVA is a Chinese agent, The Boss was betrayed by America but served her country anyway, Naked Snake gains the capacity to kill his "mother," nobody likes Volgin

Oh yeah Ocelot's dad is a psychic ghost which is why he could channel Liquid in his arm in MGS2 oh wait no it was all an act he was just pretending, nanomachines son.

A lot of game guides sum up the story of a game, or explain the goings on of a story as they happen. I want a good synopsis so I can share MGS3 with my friends.

But the story is told in a much better way! Who knows who works for who? What happens to favor what character? Ideally, there would be a YouTube video to help MGS3 as being like a Bond movie.

I always find it funny when people try to introduce their friends to MGS because it usually ends up with them not liking it and the fan getting butthurt.

I can't honestly see anyone getting into MGS by reading a synopsis of it.
