Why did Spider-Man's death take so long and seemed like it was painful anyway? Everyone else basically had no reaction and then disintegrated suddenly.

I don't remember this so it must have been unimportant. It was probably one of the most important scenes in the movie It happened just before Thanos achieved full power and did the snap. They were trying to destroy the last stone before he got it. There was a huge build up to the decision to kill Vision over like the entire movie and the entire battle in Wakanda was about defending the stone and then killing Vision to destoey it when they felt the enemy was about to claim it You must have not really been paying much attention to the plot ... The theory is that his spider sense allowed him to realize something was wrong while normal people just don't feel anything. His spider sense was probably going insane and not knowing why ...
