That's a good idea. I remember Mega Man 9 and 10 having leaderboards upon release. There's no reason not to add in extras like that to incentivize people to want to play these on Nintendo's official network. Retroachievements already has so much of the code for specific leaderboards and achievement feats mapped out. If Nintendo allied with people like this in the open source community they could create some monstrously cool features for their official network that would make people want to play on it.
