weirdly i thought i would enjoy LA a lot more than SF, but its been the other way round

LA was far too big and i feel like id need friends to take me around and be a guide. also its tricky to find the good spots to hang out and eat

in SF the people are super friendly and ive not bad any problems (apart from crazy homeless people in popeyes). also i was blown away at how pretty the houses are and the public transport. it felt a tiny bit like a european city. it wasnt as expensive as i thought it would be but i think we avoided the pricey joints

My first time out there I spent like $40 on gambling for like 6 hours worth of drinks/entertainment. Every time Id get low i would win like $50. I thought it was a good time to money investment.

Slot machines typically return between 90 and 98 percent of the money put into them (for reference roulette is about 97 and blackjack 99) but the difference to table games is that the variance is huge. Understanding the statistical advantage casinos hold is the key to knowing when you have an advantage and when you can make money from gambling. Unfortunately it's also the best way to get blacklisted since casinos actually like punters to endlessly pump money into machines hunting for 'the big one'.

Since machines are in most cases legally required to declare their rtp%, I promise you it is.

Depends on where you go. Pretty sure Excalibur had at least $10, if not $5, tables for Blackjack.

in most of the major casinos they'll bring you 'free' drinks as long as you're gambling and this includes playing on machines. i'd drop $20 into a video poker machine ($0.25/play) and sit there for about an hour but I'd get 3-4 jack n cokes while i was there. $20 for 3 drinks ain't bad at all.
